I am currently a PhD student in the University of Washington's Educational Psychology, Learning Sciences program. From 2003 to 2009 I was a Suzuki violin and piano instructor at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. My studio swelled over 50 students at one point.

I started Suzuki piano basics training at the age of five, and violin training at the age of nine. I have SAA teacher training certifications for both violin and piano. I have also studied StringPedagogy with Mimi Zweig, Dalcroze Eurythmics with Julia Schnebly-Black and have Music Together certification.
